'Façade' by Ajay Navaria, translated by Shekha Kotak
An anti-caste love story by Ajay Navaria--one of the most significant voices in modern Dalit literature--Façade cuts through the quiet violence of everyday life, exposing what lies beneath desire, intimacy, and social respectability. Shekha Kotak's translation brings Navaria's sharp, unflinching voice into English with remarkable nuance and urgency.
